Comm 229: Awesome Impressions
So, for this last chapter we were talking about audiences. And we watched videos of people making new videos about old songs. And I know that I posted about it a couple of days ago with the t-shirts. But, I think another type of fandom is being able to make yourself sound like a famous actor. I happened across this video, and this guy is freaking awesome. I know there was that comedian out there a couple of months ago, but he could only really do George W. Bush. This guy, Josh, does waaaaay more than George W. and he has an amazing Morgan Freeman impression. I just wanted to share the awesomeness. Holy cow! That was unbelievable. HIs impressions were dead on. I am always blown away by people's impressions, I sometimes try to pull off some impressions myself, and there is probably only one impression that I can do and that would be The Joker from The Dark Knight. I practiced day after day trying to get my voice right. I studied clips and studied the things he said. After I started practicing, I wanted to show it off to see if I was doing a good job, and a lot of my friends actually thought I was doing a dead on job of The Joker. I was very pleased with myself, but I love watching impressions in general. I think they are hilarious, especially the link you posted!
