I've read all four of the Twilight books, and I will admit that they were o.k. I am a bit dissapointed with how everything turned out.. and just a bit disappointed in the entirety of the series. This is an exceptionally interesting notion because I was OBSESSED with the first book, but the whole story just lost something for me somewhere, and I don't know where exactly it all went wrong.
But, that's not really the point of this whole thing. I want to talk about the movie. Or, the fact that I haven't gone to see it yet. The reason: I am afraid that it will be just as bad as the first one. I can't stand the two and a half hours of nothing going on except Bella drooling at Edward. And Unfortunately I have heard that this second movie is along the same lines. (Who am I kidding? The whole series is just about Bella drooling over Edward.....) So, in light of this, I have decided to wait until it comes out on the Redbox, where it will only cost a dollar and hopefully not be as bad

I don't really have any intention of seeing the film in theaters, but I have to give it to the soundtrack, it has a good soundtrack. Death Cab, Thom Yorke, and OK GO, you can't go wrong.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. I like the books, but I was kind of disappointed when I saw the first movie. A lot of the reviews I heard for New Moon basically said, if you like the series then you'll probably like the movie, but in general, it just isn't that great. After hearing those types of reviews, I figured I'd wait unitl it comes out on DVD.
